Sade’s on top and her new promo pictures
Sade is back and in it to win it! The singer’s album, Soldier of Love, sold 502,000 units in its first week. It has currently sold over 60,000 units and that number doesn’t seem to be dwindling any time soon. Sade has also released some new promo pictures and she looks great!! I won’t state her age, but she is giving these younger artists a run for their money!
Chris Brown weighs-in on Tiger Woods
For some odd reason, singer Chris Brown thought it would be a good idea to give his opinion on the whole Tiger Woods’ situation. I do agree with him that it’s time to let Woods get back to being the great golfer he is, but the whole thing sounds just weird coming from Brown. View what Brown told Mojo in the Morning below:
“I know my fans gave me a second chance,” said Brown, who is currently serving five years probation after pleading guilty to assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna last February. “I think people always deserve a second chance. I hope he gets back on the field and does his thing, ’cause he is the best at it. Whatever [Woods'] personal life is, and this goes for me and him, his personal life is his personal life,” he said. “Nobody has the right to place judgment or make any judgment on anybody else’s personal life when they’re not directly involved with them.”
Yes your personal life is your personal life. However when you assault your girlfriend in broad daylight and there are people around, then your personal becomes public knowledge.
Fashion Faux Pas: Leona Lewis
Singer Leona Lewis attended the Love Ball at the Roundhouse on February 23, in London, England. The event was held to raise money for her charity The Naked Heart Foundation. Lewis wore the gown (pictured above) to the event and she has been te object of ridicule ever since. The dress is okay, but it’s definitely a fashion miss. Her make-up was flawless though! What do you think?
Music Video: Wale “Pretty Girls”
Rapper Wale’s music video for the song “Pretty Girls”, has sparked a lot of controversy over the past couple of weeks. The video is obviously about beautiful women, however Wale has been criticized for only have light-skinned women and Latinas in the forefront of the video. Oddly enough, Wale is what most would consider a dark-skinned man. Personally, I feel that if you’re going to have a song like that, then you should feature women of all shapes and sizes from around the globe.
Take a look at the video and judge for yourself!
