Beauty is her name, best describes all of the women that attended the third annual ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon. The luncheon was held on March 4, at the Beverly Hills Hotel from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. This year’s honorees included : Cicely Tyson (Legend Award); Gabourey Sidibe (Best Breakthrough Performance); Queen Latifah (Power Award); Zoe Saldana (Star to Watch Award); Mary J. Blige (Songstress of the Year).
Jada Pinkett-Smith, Serena Williams, Keke Palmer, Taraji P. Henson, Paula Patton and a host of other celebrities were in attendance.

Mogul Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs and singer Cassie were seen arriving for the Gareth Pugh Ready-to-Wear Fall-Winter 2010 show. Now the chances of these two being in the same vicinity and not somehow have it planned is extremely rare. Not to mention that each of their arrival times were not that far from one another. The show was held at presentation held at the Palais de Tokyo on March 3.
The internet has been buzzing over Cassie’s abrupt departure from the social networking site, Twitter. Various sources claim that Diddy told Cassie to delete her account because of the information she had been posting. This of course, is all speculation.

New Music Video: Estelle – “Freak” Ft. Kardinal Offishall
Estelle controversial music video for the song “Freak” finally premiered. The song is extremely catching and I can definitely see this song being played all over the clubs. As far as the whole ‘black face’ thing goes, I highly doubt someone like Estelle would even do something like that. She’s stated that it wasn’t her intention to do ‘black face’, so hopefully that puts that assumption to rest! View the video in its entirety below.
Pictures of Rihanna signing autographs in Berlin
Singer Rihanna had an extremely busy day in Berlin yesterday, March 3. The songstress was at Alexa Mall in Berlin signing autographs for her fans. Suffice it to say that the mall was packed! Rihanna showed up a little late to the signing and of course the paparazzi caught the singer rushing from her hotel–the Grand Hyatt hotel. Pictures via Photo Agency.
New Music Video: Nivea “Love Hurts”
Singer Nivea unveiled her new music video “Love Hurts”. The song and the vocals aren’t her best. I can’t say that I’m liking the song or the video. However, I do like the twist at the end. View the video below.
