Brooke Burke named new co-host of ‘Dancing with the Stars’

During a live broadcast of Good Morning America, Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron engaged the audience in a guessing-game to figure out who his new co-host would be.
After a few failed guesses, Bergeron announced that season 7 winner, Brooke Burke would be taking over for Samantha Harris for the 10th season of the series.
Not a bad replacement… At least Burke will be able to relate to the contestants.
Dancing with the Stars premieres March 22 on ABC.

Seems like someone is enamored with Amy Winehouse. The singer was seen strolling along and minding her own business when a fan couldn’t help but stare and take pictures of the singer. Winehouse looks better than she has in the past… I wish she’d start making music again though and those ballerina shoes need to be tossed!

Weekend of Honors for Singer Stevie Wonder
Stevie Wonder was made a Commander of the Arts and Letters by French Culture Minister Frederic Mitterrand this past weekend. This honor comes nearly 30 years after Wonder was first named as the recipient.
According to BBC, here’s what Wonder had to say about the honor :
“I receive this honor in memory of my mother and in memory of all of those that have made it possible for me to stand here today,” Wonder said.
Wonder was also honored at the 25th Victoires de la Musique French Music Awards at Zenith de Paris over the weekend. The singer performed and gave a tearful speech as he received his trophy from fellow singer Charles Aznavour.
