I find it very disheartening that these not so young women present themselves in a light that is totally unflattering and they don’t seem to know it. What this show highlights are women who appear to have no home training, are not polished and get upset with other women who did the same thing they did to get the men they were involved with. It is sad that these women believe that dressing up hides the fact that they behave like pigs. Fighting in public, calling each other names, and creating drama for drama’s sake does not make you a grown up or a well rounded person. It is also concerning that other young women will watch this show and think that this is how grown women behave. The show is definitely a cultural study on how far our standards of ourselves and each other have fallen. I hope that the ladies (and I use this term lightly) will take a look at themselves on the show and ask themselves: Is this how I want to portray or represent myself to others?
