Dead Baby Found In Bag Of Student From Oprah Winfrey’s School
Controversy hits Oprah Winfrey’s Leadership Academy for Girls once again. The body of the baby was found when a 17-year-old girl brought the baby in a bag to a local hospital. The girl she was treated for excessive bleeding, police Lt. Col. Lungelo Dlamini told ABC News in a statement.
Police are still investigating the case, but it is believed that the girl, gave birth at the school.
The girl has not been charged and is said to be still recovering at the hospital.
A representative for Winfrey declined to comment due to the fact that a minor is involved.This is the second time a scandal has hit the Academy, which is located in Johannesburg, South Africa. Not too long after the Academy opened, school matron Virginia Tiny Makopo, was charged with sexually molesting several girls. The school’s headmistress, Lerato Nomvuyo Mzamane and Makopo was acquitted of all charges in October.
