Former talk show host, Montel Williams has a new venture in regards to marijuana.
A few days ago, Williams announced in a press conference that he had partnered up with the Albatin Wellness Cooperative. “We want to provide safe access [to marijuana] for patients and really medicalize this. Patients should be put first.”
Montel said that he’ll be “involved at every level of the cooperative, from the philosophical direction down to the blueprints.” He continued, “I want this to be someplace your mother and father could see themselves walk into.”
Montel who suffers from multiple sclerosis, has used marijuana to curb and alleviate his almost-constant neurological pain. In February of this year, Montel attended a news conference to help Maryland become the 16th state to legalize marijuana.
