Basketball Wives fans watched as Evelyn Lozada‘s Assistant Nia Crooks slapped Jennifer Williams in the face on Monday night’s episode. VIewers might have enjoyed the drama, but for Williams, it’s no laughing matter.
Williams has since decided to go the legal route and file an official complaint with the state attorney’s office in Florida.
Jennifer spoke with The NY Daily News exclusively about the incident. She said,“Violence used against any person is wrong but when a woman hits another woman it sets a horrible example for young girls everywhere.” She continued “I choose to use the justice system to fight back,” she said in an exclusive interview.”
And even though the incident happened weeks ago, Williams says she is still suffering from whiplash-like symptoms and post-traumatic stress because of the slap.
