Oprah sits down with the infamous Kardashian clan on Sunday’s episode ( June 17) of Oprah’s Next Chapter.

The talk show host gets to the bottom of Kim K’s 72-day marriage and what led to the demise. She also asks the clan what they feel they’re famous for.  The sit-down includes Oprah speaking with Rob, Kim & Kourtney Kardashian, Lamar & Khloe Odom, Scott Disick, Bruce, Kendall, Kylie and Kris Jenner. Many wondered why Oprah wanted to interview the Kardashians.

Oprah responded with the following message on her FB page;

“This interview I’d say was another level of forthrightness and honesty. Why did she leave after 72 days? Her answer leveled me.”

“I genuinely wanted to know why they have become a cultural phenomenon? Why do so many people love to watch their every move and why do so many others love to hate them. Are they completely ego centered? Are they really ‘famous for being famous’ or is there something more?”

This episode with the Kardashians airs  8 p.m. EST. The second part of Oprah’s interview with 50 Cent also airs during this time slot.
