Shakira Readies New Fragrance ‘Elixir’

Shakira wants her new fragrance, Elixir, to become a part of you.

The new scent will be the third fragrance from the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer. Instead of concocting a scent that takes over your body, Elixir was built on the concept of making it feel like a second skin.

“After my first two fragrances, I wanted to do something different — I wanted to push the idea even further and develop a fragrance that would express my most sensual and exotic side, and Elixir is the result of that,” Shakira tells WWD of her scent Elixir.

Meanwhile, Elixir is said to exude “top notes of neroli, white pepper and white flower; a heart of freesia, peony and apricot skin, and a drydown of white cedarwood, amber, benzoin, sugar cane and musk”

Elixir will go on-sale at Kohl’s and Sears later this month.
