Twilight star Kristen Stewart issued a public apology to boyfriend Rob Pattinson.
Rumors swirled that Stewart and director Rupert Sanders were caught making out and engaged in other activities both parties has no call doing. Now, Stewart is taking responsibility for her actions by admitting her wrong-doing and apologizing for it.
“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry,” Stewart said in a statement Wednesday.
This statement comes after Sanders’ wife deleted her official Twitter account.
Pattinson has yet to make a statement, but in a recent Vanity Fair interview, the actor expressed his disdain for cheating. “There is one thing I’ve never understood: Why people cheat. My parents met when my mom was 17 and my father 25, they are still together, and seem very happy. I grew up believing that you can be together all of your life.”
