Beyonce has taken a new venture under her belt.
The singer and songwriter Diane Warren have teamed up to lend their song “I Was Here” to World Humanitarian Day. Bey has even decided to record a special music video for the song in front of a crowd at the United Nations General Assembly Hall in New York.
”We all see the headlines and we think what can I really do to help? World Humanitarian Day is an opportunity for all of us to work together to make a difference,” she added. “This is our time to leave our mark on the world and show that we were here and we care.” – Beyonce Knowles
World Humanitarian Day is August 19.
