Rosario Dawson and her big bright smile cover the September issue of LATINA magazine.

Her interview with the magazine was done a while back, so there’s no mention of her new beau Danny Boyle. However, the actress does reveal that she wants kids in the future. She also reminisces about her high school years and her upcoming role in the Chavez movie.

On looking back at her high school years:
“I didn’t brush my hair; I wore platform flip-flops and Converse because I had a height complex,” says Dawson, who envied her mom’s six-foot stature. “I would roll in wearing my pajamas, just in the nick of time before class started. And that’s still me.”

On playing Dolores Huerta in the upcoming Chavez movie :
“They weren’t these regimented people; they were intense but they did have fun moments.”

On having kids:
”I won’t be able to act anymore. I’ll just be focused on trying to make the world a better place for my baby.”
