Despite their recent romantic woes, Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart cover the Fall Movie issue of Entertainment Weekly,
Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is expected to be one of the biggest movies out this fall, so EW had no choice but to feature th epair on the cover. The cover showcases the actors as their movie characters ‘Bella Swan’ and ‘Edward Cullen.’ Oddly enough, the dismay in Cullen’s face is probably how Pattinson currently feels.
Twilight director Bill Condon did weigh-in on the real-life pair vs. the characters they portray.
“The fact is, these are actors playing parts, and maybe it’s not such a bad thing that people be reminded of that. Both of these actors gave heart and soul to the Twilight movies, not only during shooting, but also by navigating so graciously the whole life-in-a-fishbowl aspect of the phenomenon. Above all they have always shown great respect for the fans who made these movies such a success. Now it’s time that some of that respect be returned to them.”
This issue of EW contains interviews with both Stewart and Pattinson before the cheating scandal broke.
