VH1 Orders Second Season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, New Season Set for Jan. 2013

VH1 has struck gold with the Atlanta version of Love & Hip Hop. Viewers can’t seem to get enough of the Urban Soap Opera and The Powers That Be have already given the greenlight for a second season. The second season is set to premiere some time in January 2013.

Everyone from the current cast will return, except for Rasheeda’s husband Kirk who wants to try his hand at working behind-the-scenes instead.

Rumors has it that female emcees Diamond and Soulja Boy will be joining the cast for the second season. The pair have been mentioned this season, as Diamond is the female that dumped Scrappy for Soulja Boy.

The rest of this season is sure to be filled with drama, as viewers will see Rasheeda and K. Michelle clash over domestic abuse allegations. The reunion show for Love & Hip Hop Atlanta will air this September.
