VH1 Pulls ‘Ev & Ocho’ From its Fall Line-Up

In lieu  of Chad Ochocinco Johnson‘s recent arrest for domestic violence against Evelyn Lozada, VH1 has opted to pull their forthcoming show, Ev & Ocho from its fall line-up.

The show was slated to premiere on September 3.

The network released the following statement about the incident and their decision.

“Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it.”

This is a triple whammy for Johnson, who was arrested and dropped from his new team the Miami Dolphins i the span of 48-hours. According to multiple reports, the two were fighting over a condom receipt Lozada found in Johnson’s car.   Apparently, Johnson head-butted Lozada and she fled to a neighbor’s house. Lozada was treated for a 3″ laceration and signed an affidavit to press charges against her husband of  40-days.
