Olympic Gold Medalist Gabby Douglas has been immortalized.
Her hometown of Virginia Beach is showing just how proud they are of the 16-year-old, by devoting an entire mural to the gymnast.
Artist Eric Lindbergh spent four days painting the mural (which measure 9-by-30 feet) on the side of a local sports bar.
Douglas caught win of the mural while in London and tweeted her gratitude for the work of art.
She tweeted:
“WOW!!! This is amazing!! #so honored,”
Of course the Olympian can’t go inside the bar, but she can always admire the mural.
