Her new talk show is just weeks away and Katie Couric is styling on the September cover of Good Housekeeping magazine. Couric may be 55-years-old, but she is as vibrant and stunning as ever!

On getting older:
“Being in the last half of your life is very scary. Turning 55 was more of a wake-up call on that front for me than 50 was.”
On her lax schedule:
“Not having to put on makeup every day was a godsend. Not having overschedules days, not having to get on a plane at the drop of a hat – it was just nice. It was a time for me to recalibrate, which is a word I think of a lot. I try to reevalutate all the aspects of my life – what am I doing right, what am I doing wrong, am I spending enough time with my kids? This year allowed me to take some time and get off the treadmill a little bit. To slow down, which I haven’t done in 32 years.”
On not being able to have more kids:
“I have total child lust when I see little kids. I think emotionally and psychologically it’s weird to feel like, gosh my childbearing years are over. And of course they’ve been over for a long time, but still, they’re officially over now. It’s kind of a head trip, to tell you the truth.”
