P!nk Covers New Issue of Billboard Magazine
P!nk is making a comeback in a big way! From snagging a CoverGirl gig to the pages of Billboard magazine, the Pop/Rock singer is back in the spotlight. As she gears up for the release of her album, The Truth About Love, Pink dishes on how motherhood changed her musically and how she feels to be a CoverGirl!
Check out come highlights from her interview with Billboard when you read on.
On the support she’s received since being named the new face of CoverGirl:
“I always read the responses from the fans. It was 99% positive, but I always have that 1% that’s negative. And my favorite comment was, ‘Too bad they can’t Photoshop the b**ch off your face.’ [laughs] That’s actually pretty good.”
On how her music carer has shifted since having her baby:
“I felt like I was in this video and I collected all the gold coins and talismans you could collect – I had to either move to the next level or quit. There’s this whole techno takeover going on right now that just does my head in, and I knew if I didn’t want to do that. I’d rather dance around and sing goofy songs.”
On being a musical faucet:
“I was calling it an experiment until it wasn’t an experiment. I had 40 songs and it worked out. I’m like a faucet – there’s nothing going on in my head when I’m off. I write in a journal and that’s it. But that first day in the studio just opened up the faucet.”
