Upcoming Season of ‘Jersey Shore’ Will be its Last

Jersey Shore fans will have to bid adieu to the MTV show, as its upcoming season will be its last.

MTV will commemorate the end of the show with a farewell one-hour retrospective on Thursday, September 6 at 6 p.m. EST called “Gym, Tan, Look Back.”

The special will recap some of the show’s most memorable moments and feature interviews with the cast. Additionally, MTV has decided to air  bonus JS programming each week at 11 p.m. ET/PT following the final episodes, this includes fan-favorite after shows with the cast, a reunion special and more.

The sixth season of Jersey Shore premieres on October 4 at 10 p.m. EST.
