The internet has been buzzing over Chris Brown‘s new tattoo.
Many speculated that the tattoo, which is positioned on his neck, was of a battered woman aka Rihanna‘s face after their 2009 incident. But a rep for the singer and his mother confirm that this is not the case.
The tattoo (shown above) is actually a combination of a MAC cosmetics photo (shown below) and a sugar skull photo, which is affiliated with the Mexican celebration ‘Day of the Dead.’
Brown’s mother took to her Twitter to defend her son and shoot down the outlandish claims that the tattoo was of Rihanna’s face.
She tweeted:
“ANGELS PLEASE NEVER BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU HEAR. TAKE A LOOK AROUND AND SEE HOW EVERYONE IS QUICK TO JUDGE, WHEN THEY DONT EVEN KNOW. I LAUGH AT THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL THE SAME. FOLLOW THE LEADER. FOLLOW THE LEADER IS THEIR MOTTO EVEN IF THEY DONT KNOW WHERE THE LEADER IS HEADED. ANGELS NO MATTER WHAT GOD WANTS US TO LOVE IN SPITE OF. I WILL CONTINUE TO FOLLOW HIS COMMANDS AND ONLY HIS.”
