Chad Johnson has finally thrown in the towel.

Just one month after his estranged wife filed for divorce, Johnson has done the same.  The NFLer cited that the marriage was irretrievably broken.

This move comes after Johnson tattooed Lozada’s face on his calf and after telling his Twitter followers he was going to get his wife and career back on track. It is not certain why Ochocinco opted to file for divorce after stating he was going to fight for his marriage. He has also asked the judge to deny Lozada’s request that he pay her legal fees.

On Thursday,  Chad pled not guilty to charges of misdemeanor battery against his wife.
