James Blunt fans won’t be happy about this news. The singer has decided to quit the music industry and take  time out for himself.

Blunt recently embarked on a year-long world tour. He sis best known for his chart-topping hit “You’re Beautiful.”

The singer told the Daily Mail what he plans on doing after retiring.

He said, “I just want to take some time out for myself. I haven’t got any plans to do more songwriting. I have been chilling out since I finished my world tour and I’ve spent a lot of time in Ibiza, where I have a villa.”

Blunt has sold 18-million albums worldwide. He received five Grammy nominations during his career and won two Brit Awards. The singer’s entire family was on-hand to watch his last   performance in Britain the Shepherd’s Bush Empire back in February.
