Kardashian Sisters Sued Over Makeup Line
The Kardashians‘ newest venture, their makeup line, has landed them in some hot water.
Makeup artist Lee Tillett is suing Khloe, Kourtney and Kim for allegedly stealing the name of her cosmetics brand.
Tillett filed the lawsuit in federal court in Los Angeles on Wednesday. In the suit, she claims that the sisters’ Khroma Beauty Collection infringes on her own line, which is called Kroma. Tillett is seeking $10 million in damages from the sisters and from the executives over at Boldface Group Inc.
“I developed the Kroma line myself, built my business through my own hard work, and took the legal steps necessary to protect it. And yet I have now been forced into legal battle with the Kardashians simply because they have decided to take something that doesn’t belong to them,” says Tillett.
Kardashians’ spokesperson Todd Wilson said in a statement that the sisters “have acted properly at all times.”
Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian launched Khroma last year.
