Halle Berry and fiance Olivier Martinez are expecting their first child together.
A rep confirmed the news to PEOPLE. “I can confirm that Halle and Olivier are expecting a child,” says the rep.
“Halle is feeling great. It’s a very exciting time,” a source tells the magazine. “This happened naturally — everyone is really happy.”
“She always talks about being a mom and she definitely wanted this for a long time,” a friend adds.
According to TMZ, Berry and Martinez are expecting a baby boy, but that has not been confirmed.
Berry is already the mother to 5-year-old Nahla, with ex Gabe Aubry.
Actress Halle Berry was honored at The Silver Rose Awards Gala with Grey Goose at the Beverly Hills Hotel on April 17, 2011 in Beverly Hills, California. The actress wowed the crowd with her vibrant fuchsia dress and silver heels. Berry’s main squeeze, Oliver Martinez was right by her side to show support. Singer Robin Thicke, actress Wendy Rachel Robinson, Taraji P. Henson, and Christina Milian were also in-attendance.

Actress Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban welcomed a halthy baby girl by way of surrogate. Apparently Kidman and Urban wanted to keep the news under wraps for as long as possible. According to TMZ, the baby, whose name is Faith, was born at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville on December 28, 2010. Kidman and Urban are Faith’s biological parents.
Nicole and Keith visited Faith in the surrogate last week, but the baby is now home.
Keith and Nicole released a statement to TMZ saying, “Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret. No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier.”
Actress Halle Berry has been extremely busy lately. berry recently came back from Australia after shooting a movie with new rumored beau Oliver Martinez. Just yesterday the Monster’s Ball actress was in Hamburg, Hermany promoting her new fragrance “Reveal.” Berry waved, smiled, greeted fans and showed off her killer legs on the red carpet.
