The Lonely Island just released their newest single, “The Creep” featuring Nicki Minaj. The official music video premiered on SNL, where Minaj was a musical guest. What may seem like an odd pairing worked exceptionally well. The song is extremely catchy and the guys and Nicki are all hilarious. Toya Carter and Memphitz cover Sister 2 Sister
Toya Carter (Lil Wayne’s ex-wife) has really come into her own. With a new book, new fiance and new show under her belt, it’s no surprise that she and her fiancee Memphitz are on the February issue of Sister 2 Sister magazine. Read some of the excerpts from the her interview below.
Toya on her fiancee:
Yes he’s like sexy chocolate (laughter) I’m kidding. He’s a family guy and that’s what I love. Like, he was raised by both parents until his father passed away. He’s very well-mannered. He’s not selfish. He’s 100 percent supportive. He’s a good friend…everything I ever wanted in a man. You can tell it’s a difference when a guy grows up with both of their parents. Like, everything was “yes ma’am, yes sir.” Respectful, like “Let me open the door for you.” These days, guys think that is lame when that’s really being a gentleman. He shows me and my daughter lots of respect. And you know, I love that about him. You don’t get that too much these days.
Toya dishes on her friendship with Lil Wayne:
Yeah, we’re really, really cool. Wayne actually did the foreword for my book. It’s like, him and MeMphHitz met and now everything is all good.
Toya dishes on her book:
The name of the book is “Priceless Inspirations.” It’s about my life and growing pains and things I chose to share with younger girls. An example is teen pregnancy; domestic violence, drugs, the business-the list goes on. Relationships, boys-it’s all types of stuff, like heart break. Just everything that I have been through that has made me the woman that I am today. Like, sometimes people say you have to go through things to kind of get it. Like, nobody could tell me not to have my baby, even though everybody was against it and felt like I was a child having a child. I had to experience that. These little boys want one thing, but I still did what I wanted to do. It was just me being younger.
But sometimes stories can help you versus your parents or older people trying to tell you thing. Sometimes we feel like, “That happened to you but that don’t apply to us; that was back in the old days.” With my book I just wanted to do something inspirational. I named my book “Priceless Inspirations” because my name, Antonia, means “priceless” in Italian.
Toya speaks on her rnew boutique:
We opened October 21st and I had this big grand opening party. I mean, the business has been booming. God is good. I put a lot of love into the store because fashion has always been a passion of mine. It’s in a really nice neighborhood in New Orleans at 2108 Magazine Street.

Soulja Boy’s ‘The DeAndre Way’ dissapoints in its first week
It seems as though Soulja Boy‘s reign of success may be over. The rapper’s fourth overall studio album, The DeAndre Way, delivered extremely poor album sales in its first week.
The DeAndre Way debuted on the Billboard Hot 200 chart at No. 79 with 13,000 copies sold. That may seem like a lot of copies, but it definitely isn’t for someone who has sold millions in the past. For year people have said that Soulja Boy was overrated, maybe the rest of the population finally caught on.
New Music Video: Diddy – Dirty Money – “Loving You No More” ft. Drake
“Loving You No More” is the fourth single from band Diddy-Dirty Money. The track also features rapper Drake. “Loving You No More” will be one of the many songs on the band’s upcoming album Last Train to Paris, which is set to be released in December 2010.
