Hall & Oates bass player Tom “T-Bone” Wolk dies at 58
Tom “T-Bone” Wolk, the longtime bass player for Daryl Hall and John Oates, has died. Wolk died just hours after a session with Daryl Hall on February 28, in New York. He was 58-years-old.
According to Hall and Oates’ manager Johnathan Wolfson the cause of death was believed to be a heart attack.
Wolk was to appear on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon with Hall and Oates last night (March 1).
Bette Midler, Avril Lavigne, Billy Joel and Elvis Costello were just some of the many musicians that Wolk worked with during his career.
Wolk was also the bass player in NBC’s Saturday Night Live house band from the late 80s until 1992.
