‘Fast & Furious 6’ No. 1 at Box Office, Biggest Memorial Weekend Opening To-Date



Even after six installments,the Fast & Furious franchise still reigns supreme.

Fast & Furious 6 is on pace to make $119.3 M, thereby topping the box office and making it the biggest Memorial Day weekend opening to-date.

The film has reportedly earned about $150M overseas those figures coupled with the U.S. figured would have the movie making a little over $270M world-wide,according to The Hollywood Reporter

Bradley Cooper‘s The Hangover Part III nabs the No. 2 spot with a total of $65M for its five-day opening.

Sci-fi film, Star Trek Into Darkness landed in the No. 3 spot with $38M earned.

The animated film, Epic came in at No. 4 with $34.2M and Iron Man 3 earned  $19.4 M to clench the No. 5 spot.

The original movie in the franchise, The Fast & the Furious  was released in theaters in 2001.
