Oxygen Cancels “The Glee Project” After Two Seasons
Oxygen has decided to pull the plug on The Glee Project after two seasons.
The network cites low ratings as the reason for axing the show. Even though the timing is horrible, the death of Glee star Cory Monteith had nothing to do with the network’s decision.
A production company for the series released the following statement: “The Glee Project will not be returning to Oxygen but we are extremely proud of this series which launched the careers of several talented individuals.”
“The show had so much heart and we thank Ryan Murphy and all of the creative talent who helped make the series a critical darling.”
