Charlie Hunnam Drops Out of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Film
It’s back to the drawing board.
Charlie Hunnam has dropped out the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey film, due to schedule complications. This comes just one month after Hunnam was announced to play the domineering ‘Christian Grey.’
Universal Studios released a statement on October 11, saying, “The filmmakers of Fifty Shades of Grey and Charlie Hunnam have agreed to find another male lead given Hunnam’s immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey.”
Hunnam is currently working on movies Crimson Peak, and Triple Nine, which are both in pre-production.
Fifty Shades of Grey, the movie, is based on E.L James’ widely-popular book series by the same name.
