The movies released in 2013 have brought in some big numbers.
Now, the figures are in and the Top 10 highest-grossing movies of the year has been unveiled.
The list is filled with action , adventure, and thriller films. There’s even a couple of animate films throw into the mix.

1. Iron Man 3 starring Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle. Gross to-date $409 million.
2. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth. Gross to-date $391 million.
3. Despicable Me 2 starring Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Benjamin Bratt. Gross to-date $367 million.
4. Man of Steel starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams. Gross to-date $291 million.
5. Monsters University starring Billy Crystal, John Goodman. Gross to-date, about $269 million.
6. Gravity starring Sandra Bullock, George Clooney, Ed Harris. Gross to-date $254 million.
7. Frozen starring Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel. Gross to-date $248 million.
8. Fast and Furious 6 starring Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson. Gross to-date a little more than $238 million.
9. Oz the Great and Powerful starring Mila Kunis, James Franco, Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz. Gross to-date approx. $235 million.
10. Star Trek Into Darkness starring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Benedict Cumberbatch. Gross to-date $229 million.
