Ronda Rousey to star in ‘Road House’ Reboot
The 80s classic Road House is being revamped.
MMA star Ronda Rousey has signed on to star in the film. The late Patrick Swayze starred in the original film as ‘Dalton’ the bouncer who beat up bad guys, but still managed to give out sound advice when necessary.
Rousey took to Twitter to announce the news. She wrote, “It is a great honor to play a part in celebrating the life of a man that inspired so many. I couldn’t be more grateful to have this opportunity to pay respect to the beloved Patrick Swayze… I promise to work incessantly to make sure this project is a tribute his family and fans can be proud of.”
Before taking on the role, Rousey contacted Swayze’s widow, Lisa Niemi, for her blessing.
