‘Men In Black 4’ Could Have A Woman as the Star
Get ready for a new Men In Black film. Unlike the previous installments, this upcoming film (which is currently in the works) could have a woman as the star.
Producer Laurie MacDonald recently told the BBC that there are plans to have a “prominent Woman in Black” starring in upcoming fourth installment SCI-FI comedy film.
MacDonald’s husband and Men in Black co-producer, Walter Parkes shared that they are in “quite early” stages, but are looking at the fourth film as a “reinvention” that moves away from the Agent J and K partnership that fans have grown accustomed to.
Parkes said Will Smith would “most likely” not be involved in the new film, but to “never count Will out.”
If you’ve followed the franchise from the beginning, then you’ll remember that Linda Fiorentino was technically already a Woman in Black, when she appeared in the suit-and-shades getup at the end of the original 1997 film. However, her character did not appear in the films that followed after.
