Singer Prince Dead at 57



The world is mourning the loss of yet another legend. Iconic musician Prince (born Prince Rogers Nelson) has died. He was 57.

The 57-year-old singer was found unresponsive in an elevator at his Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota.


Authorities are said to be investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
Prince’s publicist confirmed his death but didn’t provide details about the cause.

Prince brought us songs such as: “Kiss,” “When Doves Cry,” “1999,” “Let’s Go Crazy,” and “Diamonds & Pearls.” His first movie role was in Purple Rain and the soundtrack landed him his very own Academy Award.

“Purple Rain” was the last song Prince performed. He gave his final show at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre just one week ago.

TMZ was the first outlet to break the news of the singer’s passing.
