JC Chasez got to celebrate his big 4-0 with his NSYNC bandmates.

For years, fans have wondered whether or not the group was still friends and the photo that former band member Justin Timberlake posted on Instagram proves that nothing has changed.

The photo (shown above) shows the guys- Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass and Timberlake – all huddled around Chasez who turned 40 on August 8. Timberlake captioned the photo: “JC’s 40th.. And, if you don’t know now you know…”

The group wasn’t photographed in a studio, so fans will still have to wish on a star for a musical reunion.
