Michael J. Fox Pays Homage to ‘Back to the Future’ By Congratulating Cubs on World Series Win

Back to the Future II was almost right about the Chicago Cubs.

The Cubs’ World Series losing streak has been the butt of many jokes over the years. Notably, Back to the Future Part II, predicted that the Cubs would sweep Miami in five games.

Though it’s a year after Part II’s prediction was supposed to come true, the Cubs were able to pull out a win and Michael J.Fox aka Marty McFly sent the team his congratulations.

Fox tweeted, “Only off by a year, not bad. Congrats Cubs. This is so heavy.”
