Amy Schumer to Play Barbie in Live-Action Movie About the Doll

Amy Schumer could be the next Barbie – not a doll replica.

Move over animated films, as the comedienne is in talks to play Barbie in Columbia Pictures’ live-action comedy.

The film will follow how Barbie gets kicked out of Barbieland for not being perfect. She then ends up in the real world.

The movie will be PG rating and is scheduled to be released in summer 2018.
