Jimmy Kimmel will be hosting yet another awards show – the Oscars.

Kimmel will host the 89th Oscars® LIVE on February 26th, 2017 on the ABC .

This will be the late night host’s first time hosting the Academy Awards, even though he has done an annual Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Oscars special for years.

Kimmel took to Twitter to reveal the news. He tweeted: ” Yes, I am hosting the Oscars. This is not a prank. And if it is, my revenge on will be terrible & sweet. Thx to “
