The Tonys have made a huge impact on music, as the soundtrack for Broadway’s “Dear Evan Hansen” has beat Katy Perry’s “Witness” on iTunes.

The musical was crowned ‘Best Musical’ at the Tony awards this past Sunday – one of six awards for the night.

The soundtrack is currently positioned at sitting at No. 1 on the iTunes charts, beating out True Crime Garage’s The Bricca Family Murders and Perry’s Witness.

This is the second time, the show’s soundtrack makes a debut on the charts. In February, the album landed at No. 8 on the Billboard album chart.
