ICYMI: The 2017 Emmy Nominations Are In

The 2017 Emmy nominations have been announced and ‘Saturday Night Live’ has got its groove back.

The nominations for the 69th Annual Emmy Awards were revealed on Thursday morning, with HBO’s “Westworld” and NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” tying for the most nominations  at 22.

Though Alec Baldwin isn’t an official SNL cast member, his numerous appearances earned him a  Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series nod. Other SNL folks nominated were Vanessa Bayer and Kate McKinnon.  Dave Chapelle, Tom Hanks, and Melissa McCarthy were all nominated for their respective guest appearances on the show.

Some notable nods went to Viola Davis, Sterling K. Brown, Nicole Kidman, Louie Anderson and Felicity Hoffman.
