Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington Dead at 41
Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington has died from an apparent suicide. He was 41.
An employee found Bennington today (Jul. 20) hanging at his home in Palos Verdes Estates, California, around 9 a.m. Today also happens to be late singer Chris Cornell’s 53rd birthday. Bennington was close pals with Cornell and even sang at his funeral.
Bennington was the frontman of Linkin Park from 1999 up until his death. The band brought the world hits such as “Numb,” “Faint,” “Crawling,” “In The End” and more.
He was also the lead singer for Dead by Sunrise and fronted Stone Temple Pilots from 2013 to 2015.
Bennington leaves behind his wife Talinda and six kids.
