Hilary Clinton Unveils New Memoir Name & Promises To Let Guard Down
Hilary Clinton has unveied the name of her new memoir. The book, called “What Happened” will examine Clinton’s mistakes she made along the campaign trail and her loss to president Trump.
“In the past, for reasons I try to explain, I’ve often felt I had to be careful in public, like I was up on a wire without a net,” Clinton writes in the books opening, “Now I’m letting my guard down.”
According to a press release from her publisher, Simon & Schuster, “she speaks about the challenges of being a strong woman in the public eye, the criticism over her voice, age, and appearance, and the double standard confronting women in politics.”
Clinton tweeted about the book, following the name reveal. She wrote, “Writing ‘What Happened’ was hard, so is what we see every day. As we move forward & fight back, I hope this helps. www.amazon.com/Untitled… pic.twitter.com/iAMM3tf…”
