The Mindy Project’s marriage will be short-live.

The show’s fifth season ended with Mindy and Ben ( played by Bryan Greenberg) getting married. Sadly, their marriage will end in the comedy’s sixth and final season, according to EW.

Mindy met Ben last season and after some ups and downs, it led to Mindy proposing to him on a subway platform.

The pair married, but viewers saw Mindy peering out the subway window, with a dismay on her face.

The Mindy Project returns Sept. 12 on Hulu.
