Justin Timberlake Confirmed to Headline Super Bowl LII Halftime Show
After weeks of speculation it has been confirmed that Justin Timberlake will headline the Super Bowl LII Pepsi Halftime Show.
Following the confirmation, Timberlake released an official announcement via social media with the help of friend Jimmy Fallon. In the video, both can be seen talking about doing half time, where Mr. JT finally reveals (with a smirk) that he will be spearheading the show.
The NFL also confirmed the news via twitter by tweeting:

This will be Timberlake’s second appearance at a Super Bowl Halftime Show. His first appearance, in 2004, came with controversy, as he and Janet Jackson were scrutinized for their performance. Jackson had an alleged “wardrobe” malfunction, which left her breast being exposed (her nipple was covered up) due to Timberlake tearing off a part of her outfit.
Though Timberlake has not released an album since his “20/20 Experience” Part I and II, he has been dropping hints on social media about the possibility of releasing new music in the near future.
Timberlake has brought the world such hits as, “Sexy Back,” “Cry Me a River,” “Mirrors,” “Can’t Stop the Feeling” and much more. Since Many fans know Timberlake from his *NSYNC days, one can’t help but wonder if he will enlist the help of his former band members for the Halftime show.
No other acts have been confirmed for the show. Super Bowl LII takes place February 4, 2018!
