Singer Selena Receives Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
Singer Selena finally got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this past week.
This comes 22-years after the singer’s untimely death.
A record number of fans looked ok as her star was unveiled just a few feet away from Capitol Records, where she was once signed to.
Selena’s husband, Chris Perez, and her family, attended the ceremony. Actress Eva Longoria was also in attendances. To top things off, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti also announced that Nov. 3 is now officially known in the city as “Selena Day.”
The late singer joins 89 Latino artists such as Jennifer Lopez and Celia Cruz who have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
