Oprah Winfrey Covers the March issue of WSJ Magazine
Oprah Winfrey has been the topic of conversation ever since the Oscars a few weeks ago and now the entrepreneur is covering the March issue of The Wall Street Journal.
Though she has dismissed the potential for a 2020 presidential run, Oprah definitely has lots to talk about in this Women’s issue of the magazine.
On her new Disney film, “A Wrinkle in Time:
“One of the reasons I love ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ is because I get to play this grand, wise, angelic creature, and one of the things she says is, ‘The darkness is spreading so fast these days; the only thing that is faster than light is the darkness.’ I really do believe that we are going through some dark times, so you have to make a choice not to be pulled into it.”
On what she learned from the late Maya Angelou about being in your 50s: “There’s a quickening that happens, and your body, your hormones, everything is saying, ‘Hey, you don’t have as much time as you once had—let’s get on with it!’ You get to step into your true beauty, your true value, your true worth, without everyone else’s opinions and judgments of what you should be.”
