Jason Derulo is the latest celeb to sign on for the musical movie version of ‘CATS.’

Derulo will play a cat named Rum Tum Tugger, who is know for being rebellious.

The screen adaptation of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical will begin production next month. Stephen Spielberg is also serving as one of the movie’s executive producers.

Tom Hooper is set to direct the all-star film. The current cast includes James Corden, Judi Dench, Idris Elba, Jennifer Hudson, Ian McKellen, Taylor Swift and Rebel Wilson.
