On Monday night, First Lady Michelle Obama was dressed to-the-nines as she celebrated her 47th birthday at Source. The first lady was escorted by her husband President Barak Obama and headed to an intimate dinner at the restaurant with one another.

After weeks of speculation, Nick Cannon confirmed that wife, Mariah Carey is pregnant with twins. On Thursday, Cannon put rumors to rest on his radio show, 92.3 Rollin’ With Nick Cannon radio show telling listeners. Cannon told listeners “We are having twins.”
When President Barack Obama asked about Carey’s pregnancy, the singer informed the president of her multiple births.
Here’s how Cannon recalls Carey telling the president and first lady about the twins while performing at TNT’s Christmas in Washington 2010:
“They, ironically enough, questioned my wife about, you know, ‘So, what are you having, are you having twins?’ ” Cannon said Thursday morning on his 92.3 Rollin’ With Nick Cannon radio show.
“And at this point she hadn’t told anybody anything because doctors advised us to keep it to ourselves until we get further along,” he said. “And because of the excitement, because of the emotion, she was overwhelmed [and] she shared with the President and First Lady that we are having twins.”
Mariah Carey told British ride just how happy she is that her baby will be accepted by society instead of being an outcast.
Carey, who happens to be of is Irish-American and African-American decent, revealed that she felt like an outcast growing up.
Here’s what Carey said to British Pride: “Having Obama in office and bringing a child into the world at this point is totally different than me feeling like an outcast when I was growing up and not feeling like it was okay to be ethnically diverse, and I can’t believe that we have arrived at this point within society.”
The 40-year-old explained that growing up not looking the same as either her mother or father was an unusual thing for her but is happy that her baby will not feel the same.
The “h Santa” singer believes that electing Barack Obama as the President of the United States brought about a change in the way people viewed others ad the world.
“I think it’s a little bit easier now because the world has changed just in terms of identifying yourself, ” said Carey. “That always felt like a strange thing to me as a child, not looking the same as your own mother of father was a very different thing back then.”
