Justin Timberlake has his sights set on a new role, and it’s no riddle.
During a recent interview with Fresh 102.7’s Jim and Kim Show about his Runner Runner co-star, Ben Affleck, being cast in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel. “Ben Affleck as Batman, I like it,” he said. “I worked with Ben last summer and I’ve seen his process. I think he’s a brilliant filmmaker. I think he’s an extreme talent so he could surprise a lot of people.”
But when Justin was asked if he’d consider playing ‘Robin,’ he answered with a laugh, “Not a chance in hell,” clarifying, “I ain’t playin’ Robin. I have no aspiration to ever be a superhero in a movie. Now VILLAIN! Ill tell you the villain I want to play more than anything because I grew up loving Batman, funny enough, is the Riddler. The Riddler is my favorite villain.”
He continues, “The Riddler was like a sociopath. He was proper crazy. So if I’m gonna play crazy, I’m wanna play proper crazy. I’m ready. The Riddler. Gimme a call.”
fans haven’t seen The Riddler in a Batman movie, since Jim Carrey portrayed the villain in the film, Batman Forever.
Affleck was announced as the new Batman, for the upcoming Superman-Batman flick and some fans are not too happy with the choice. On top of being the butt of jokes, on Twitter with the trending topic #BetterBatmanThanBenAffleck, various Batman fans have stared petitions to get the Argo director removed from the film.
Actor Matt Damon has vocalized his thoughts on his pal’s new role.
During a recent interview for his new movie Elysium Damon said, “I think it will be great.”
He continued, “It will be terrific. I know there are a lot of people grousing on the internet. I just think it’s kind of funny. You know, he’s not playing King Lear. It’s Batman!”
“It’s certainly within his skill set. If anybody saw ‘Argo’ or ‘The Town,’ and all the work he’s been doing lately, it’s way more nuanced and interesting and way more difficult than Batman! Batman just sits there with his cowl over his head and whispers in a kinda gruff voice at people. Bruce Wayne is the more challenging part of the role, and Ben will be great at that… But it’s safe to say I won’t be Robin.”

A new Caped Crusader has been found!
Actor Ben Affleck will take over the role of Batman, making him the eighth actor to play the superhero.
Affleck will begin his stint as Batman, in the upcoming untitled Batman-Superman feature for Warner Bros., the studio announced Thursday.
The forthcoming Batman-Superman film will be directed by Man of Steel‘s Zack Snyder. The Batman-Superman feature will open worldwide on July 17, 2015, with Henry Cavill, Diane Lane, and Amy Adams reprising their respective roles.
“Ben provides an interesting counter-balance to Henry’s Superman. He has the acting chops to create a layered portrayal of a man who is older and wiser than Clark Kent and bears the scars of a seasoned crime fighter, but retain the charm that the world sees in billionaire Bruce Wayne,” Snyder said in a statement. “I can’t wait to work with him.”
Britney Spears is on top of the world right night. She just released a new music video, her album Femme Fatale is flying off the shelves and she’s performing all over the place. Spears recently sat down with Us Weekly and dished on her boys, motherhood, her new beau Jason and much more. Check out the interview below.
Congratulations on Femme Fatale! How did making this record compare to making your first …Baby One More Time?
I’m at such a different point in my life now than I was back then. I’m more mature and much more hands on now. I know exactly what I like and what I don’t like. I guess that can make the recording process pretty difficult, because I’m very particular about songs I put my voice on.
You’re a parent now, too. How has motherhood changed you?
It really puts life into perspective. You have to think about all your decisions so much more carefully, because they are affecting your kids too. My priorities have changed and I do everything for the boys. They remind me what life is about.
Tell Us about Preston and Jayden.
Jayden is the youngest and he might be the mama’s boy. He’s very outgoing, always making us laugh, and he’s very creative. Preston is definitely the big brother. He’s very independent. He’s really, really smart and thinks everything through.
What are they into these days?
Their new favorite thing is dressing up as different superheroes, and they’re just so cute! They especially love Batman and Spiderman. We love watching Disney movies together. I also love reading them Fancy Nancy books (a children’s series by Jane O’ Connor and Robin Preiss Glasser) before bed.
What do the boys think of your music?
They are my biggest fans. I make up songs and sing to them all the time. They like to watch me dance. In fact, they join in and do their own moves!
Will they get to see you in action on the tour?
They will be coming with me. I couldn’t go on tour without them! I’m always very busy when I’m on the road, but I make sure to have quality time with them every single day.
What’s your parenting style? And what about Jason’s?
With some things I’m strict and with others I’m easy going. I guess I’m right in the middle. Jason is amazing with the boys. They look up to him so much – they adore him. He’s their hero.
What else do you love about Jason?
We have such a great time together! He makes me laugh, and we are so comfortable being ourselves. We like to stay home, order in, watch movies, go to dinner with friends. And we love to get away for the weekend. Some of our favorite spots are Las Vegas, Hawaii, or Mexico.
Do you see yourself getting married again?
Maybe. Never say never!
