The Biggest Loser has found the perfect new host – Bob Harper.
Starting next season, which begins in 2016, Harper will move from trainer to host.
Harper has been a part of the show since it debut in 2004. He will be taking over for Alison Sweeney who decided not to return for season 17.
“I know all of the ins and outs [of the show],” he says. “And let me tell you, the weigh-in room is going to be a completely different ballgame with me at the steering wheel.”
Biggest Loser star and trainer Jillian Michaels is about to say adios to the show.
Michaels, 36, is ready to step away from the hit show, reports E! Online.
The trainer took to her Twitter and posted the following message: “Season 11 of Biggest Loser will be my last 🙂 have to finish out my contract.”
“I want to take a year off TV and focus on becoming a mommy and doing more charity work,” she said in another tweet.
Apparently The Biggest Loser has already found Michaels’ replacement. The hit reality show is shaking up thing sin the upcoming season by adding two new trainers, one of which will be Michaels’ permanent replacement.
The newest season of The Biggest Loser begins Jan. 4.
