Miley Cyrus Gets ‘Rolling $tone’ Tattoo on her Feet

Miley Cyrus has a new tattoo to match her Rolling Stone feature.

The “Wrecking Ball’ singer posted a photo on Instagram of her latest tattoo. The singer has the word “ROLLING” tatted on her right foot and the world “$TONE” tatted on her left foot.

Cyrus got the tattoos in August during her interview with a  journalist for her Rolling Stone cover story.

This isn’t Cyrus’ first tattoo. The singer has a dream catcher on her rib cage, a cross of two arrows on her right elbow, “Just Breath” below her chest, “Love” on the inside of her right ear and a heart on her right hand. She allegedly has a total of 20 tattoos.

Miley Cyrus Talks Misconceptions with NOTION Magazine

Miley Cyrus covers the 65th issue of Notion magazine; a British fashion and lifestyle publication.

Although the cover has not been officially revealed, some of Cyrus’ interview has already hit the web. Notion’s Michael Cragg chatted with Miley about public misconceptions, why she hasn’t dropped her surname and why she isn’t the ratchet girl people think she is.

The magazine hinted via their Facebook page that the issue would be available (or maybe the cover would be revealed) on August 29.

On changing her name:

“I was thinking about dropping the Cyrus and just being Miley, but there’s something powerful about the fact that my name now is like a household name.”

On not being the ratchet Caucasian girl people paint her to be:

“People have this misconception of me that I’m just one of these kids on TV and that now I go off and party and I’m just this ratchet white girl, and I’m not,” she tells Notion. “I work really really hard, I’m just in a different environment. I’m young and living and in LA which is everyone’s dream, you know.”

Claire Danes for VOGUE Magazine

Claire Danes graces the August cover of VOGUE magazine.

The Homeland actress looks right at home in front of the camera, as she poses for famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.

In this issue, Danes chats it up about taking her now-memorable role in Homeland, being a new mother, and more. Canes even reveals how ‘stuck’ she felt when she wasn’t actively working as an actress. Check out some highlights from her interview below.

On declaring her profession at age nine:

“ ‘Money or no money, I have to act. There’s no plan B. That’s it.’ So I went to Lee Strasberg and desperately tried to feel the wind!”

On feeding her son Cyrus at a awards ceremony;

“I went on the red carpet, went upstairs, fed Cyrus. Went into the ceremony, got the award, went back to feed Cyrus, went out again. . . . Then it was ‘Now you meet the president.’ ”

“I had these new boobs; I’m wearing a big Jessica Rabbit dress, and I’d been living in sweat pants for so long. . . . It was strange. It was dreamy, surrounded by my parents and my husband. It was one of the best nights of my life because of this perfect mash-up.”

On her admiration for Jennifer Lawrence and Carey Mulligan:

“I’m so impressed by Jennifer Lawrence and Carey Mulligan,” she says. “They have this exquisite taste. They are very gifted in their ability to make great choices. I didn’t have that rudder.”

Nicki Minaj Praises Miley Cyrus’ Evolution & Twerking Skills

Miley Cyrus recently cited Nicki Minaj as one of her influences, saying that the female emcee is one of her Top 5 favorite artists.  E! Online caught up with Minaj while she was promoting her Myx Fusion drink brand in New York, and it seems that the I Am Your Leader performer is a fan of Cyrus as well.

OMG! Miley is sooooo cute and every time I see her I say again and again that she is so damn cute and down to earth. I really love her,” the rapper told E! exclusively. “What a compliment that was to me. I really love her back. Thanks Miley!”

Fans and the media have been comparing Cyrus to the likes of both Rihanna and Minaj, due to her new funky style and random twerking videos. Miley, however, has denied trying to mimic Minaj.

In an interview with last month, Cyrus named Minaj as one of her top five favorite female singers along with rapper Lil’ Kim and godmother, Dolly Parton.

“Nicki is now my Lil’ Kim of my generation so that’s cool,” she said.

“A lot of people wanted to try to make me the white Nicki Minaj,” Cyrus told “That’s not what I’m trying to do. I love ‘hood’ music, but my talent is as a singer.”

So what does Nicki Minaj think of Ms. Miley’s new look?

“She looks very sexy and sassy in her new video,” noted Minaj. “I love it! I love her new look, she is really all grown up. I love that she cut her hair. Some people were iffy that she cut it but I love people that have the balls to do whatever they want.”

Minaj adds, “I can tell now Miley is really developing into her own self.  “I love her Twerking moments. That’s what is is all about being an artist.”
